EXploring Wood Construction

Utilizing the construction method of joinery, this wooden pavilion stands completely in absence of glue and is held together by pieces that fit seamlessly into one another. It is inspired by the organic curvature forms found in flowers, utilizing biomimicry to hybridize a graceful and timeless structure that provides shelter against the sun. Emulating the strength and flexibility inherent in botanical structures, the pavilion incorporates curved beams and interconnected supports.
